Are your walks guided or self-guided?

Both. Our guided walks travel in small groups with a local guide who speaks English and German. Our self-guided programmes give you route notes, maps and GPS tracks, with luggage transfers and support arranged, so you walk at your own pace while we handle the logistics.

How big are the groups?

Never more than twelve walkers. If a group is larger, we split it and add a second guide, so the pace and the dinner table stay personal.

How does booking work, and when will you reply?

Send us an enquiry and a real person replies within 48 hours, usually sooner. We talk through dates, routes and accommodation, then confirm everything in writing before anything is booked.

When is the best time to walk in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

Spring and autumn are ideal, with mild temperatures and long days. Winter is usually quiet and walkable along the coast. We do not recommend midsummer for the longer coastal stages, when the heat is demanding.
